This $2100 Silicone Valley studio apartment is rented to two cats, not people

This story will do nothing to dispel rumours cats are the absolute divas of the animal kingdom.
Two beloved felines are living large in their own studio apartment in Silicon Valley after their owner, Victoria Amith, couldn’t move them to her student accommodation interstate.

After plans fell through to house cats Louise and Tina at her father’s place (apparently his fiancé’s dog wasn’t keen on the pair), Victoria and her father opted for the drastic solution of getting them their own place.
“It’s quirky, isn’t it?” landlord David Callisch said.
“People love their pets, they’re part of their family.” Quirky and expensive, at US$1500 per month (AU$2,100).

David reckons the cats keep to themselves and like to lounge around the cat tree.
And although there’s no kitchen in the small studio, something tells us Tina and Louise aren’t short of food.
