Rumours fire up and tempers flare as Sara labels Bianca and Carla ‘dodgy cheaters’

It all began with a warning from Scott Cam.
During the Domain walkarounds, Scotty innocently reminded Hans and Courtney to properly check their invoices, alluding to the problem he’d just uncovered with Bianca and Carla’s lighting.
While he didn’t mention the girls by name, Hans and Courtney were intrigued to hear Scotty declare that he didn’t really believe the culprits hadn’t been aware they were getting a super-sized discount.
Hearing the same story from Scotty, Kerrie wasn’t as quick to bite. She suggested it may have been a simple misunderstanding. “I’d rather just focus on what we’re doing, than what other people might or might not be doing.”
That was just one scandal. The other was about to erupt.
Perhaps rallied by the light scandal, Courtney had more news to share about Apartment 5. “I heard that the girls had their electrician spraying paint for them,” Courtney told Hans.
Along with the rule about not getting a whopping discount, there’s also a rule that all painting must be done by contestants – and Courtney was now revealing she believed the girls were in breach of not one but two Block laws. And it was Sara who had told her the painting allegation.
When it came time for Scott Cam to give Sara the same “check your invoices” warning, Sara immediately suspected the girls and saw an opportunity to share the second rumour with him.
“Speaking of honesty,” she started. “I heard that certain contestants had a trade that was spray painting for them.”
Sara explained she had shared her suspicions with Foreman Dan and had been told there would be a punishment of some sort. “I was just wondering if that’s still effective,” she said.
To clarify – Sara heard the news of this apparent spray painting from Jess, who is the best friend of Bianca and Carla. What Jess was actually referring to was that the electrician applied a tiny amount of spray paint after working on a window. So not exactly “spraying paint” like Courtney suggested, but still a breach.
Jess had mentioned it innocently to Sara, as a warning to not let any trade even touch paint, no matter how tiny the amount. Sara, however, had taken it as her personal mission to seek “justice”.
“Every time [Sara] hears the girls have done something, it’s like her neck increases in size by like, a metre,” observed Jess.
Foreman Dan was called to testify as to what actually happened. He explained the electrician had applied spraypaint along the window ledge, which he saw as breaking the rules.
“I hope they get everything they deserve,” Sara said, satisfied. “I don’t like them”.
“We expect results and we don’t expect favouritism,” said Hayden.
“They’re cheaters,” Sara spat. “Everything they do is dodgy. Rooftop terrace apartments, why would ya?”
Scotty confirmed he would be going upstairs to the “rooftop terrace apartment” to sort things out, once and for all.
Somehow, we suspect someone else won’t be quite as happy.
