Rick and Tayla had a rough week last week, with Tayla being slammed by the judges for her styling choices. Can the father-daughter duo redeem themselves with their Kitchen, Butler’s Pantry and Powder Room.

Marty, Shaynna and Darren were immediately blown away by the backlit stone backsplash.
“Wow, that is such a feature,” Shaynna said. “This is exceptional,” Darren added.

The trio were in disbelief that this was Rick and Taylor’s house. Shaynna went as far as saying it’s “the best room Rick and Tayla have done.”

Walking into the Butler’s Pantry, Marty noted it was a shame that they weren’t able to finish the room.

“If they had just got some paint on this, this was a serious contender for kitchen of the day,” Marty said. “This is the best Butler’s I’ve seen today.”

The judges loved the shelving and storage options. Shaynna also praised Tayla on her styling, saying: “I’ve never seen restraint from Tayla ever, there’s restraint here.”
