We’re two days into Main Bedroom week, but most Blockheads are still focused on last week – and how they really don’t think Courtney and Sev should’ve won.

It makes for a fun morning for the gals!

Yes, everyone IS talking about you. Nine

Rather than let it get them down, they are instead hoping to make Block history by going three from three.

Four other teams don’t want that to happen, coming up with unique, never-been-done-before ideas to get them to the top of the leaderboard instead.

Rick and Tayla’s unique plan is a fireplace.

Or should I say, Rick and Tayla’s plan is a fireplace. House 4 has organised one too, so it’s not exactly unique.

“I thought I was the only person who came up with that idea!” Tayla groans.

At least you aren’t doing an arch! Nine

As for Houses 1, 2 and 3?

They’re all looking to add curves and arches as their points of difference that are, in fact, not different at all.

At this point, Adam and Jolene’s inability to find a plasterer who can help them this week may be the only thing giving any team a truly one-of-a-kind space.

It’ll be completely bare, of course, but at least it will be different!

Sounds like a perfect time for Foreman Dan to deliver some really fun, extremely helpful news: next Friday, at the end of Ensuite Week, there’s a public holiday.

That means losing a day during a wet week, but on the bright side everyone is now allowed to start on their ensuite floor early.

With all that spare time they have!

Hip hip hooray for more work! Nine

Not long after opening up about how grateful she is to be here, Courtney has regrets.

She has a million tradies to wrangle, so when the flooring guy wants to have a lunch break at the same time as everyone else, her frustration boils over.

Dan calls it “heavy talking”, which is a pretty fun way to say yelling.

Turns out, he’s on Team Lunch.

THE BLOCK 2026 Courtney

I’m always Team Lunch. Nine

“Go for it! Let’s all work over the top of each other again, it’ll be perfect,” Courtney concedes.

Very, very sarcastically.

She is vindicated when everyone returns to work at the same time and is very much in each other’s way, leading to a less-than-perfect curve in a carpet inlay.

“Imagine if we’d just coordinated lunch breaks, that would’ve been unreal!” she reacts.

Soon, the tables turn – and she and Sev are the ones getting lectured!

Dan and site manager Aidan tell them off for spending $53,000 on their bathroom last week. They’ve now spent more than double the $30,000 budget for the first two rooms!

“At the rate you’re going, you won’t do a room past week five or six,” Aidan warns.

Courtney and Sev definitely take the reality check on board.

Defiiiiinitely. Nine

After too many days complaining about his sore tooth, Wyatt finally gets it yanked out.

And he’s got it with him, perhaps as a memento for House 2’s eventual buyer.

Maybe they will have a point of difference after all!

Strap in for tomorrow night!

We’ve got real estate warnings, Dan’s very worried face and far, far too much of Wyatt’s thigh to look forward to.
