Perth Bond house hits the market for $50m

The former home of notorious business man Alan Bond has been listed for offers over $50m. The estate is located in the upmarket Perth suburb of Dalkeith, and is one of the flashiest properties in the area.

As you can expect, for $50m you get a lot of house, with 6 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms and garage parking for 12 cars. With 14 bathrooms, you’d certainly want a cleaner!

The property has celeb style luxuries such as a home gym, 21-seat cinema, wine cellar and tasting room, pool, sauna, spa, squash court, tennis court and even a ballroom, should you fancy throwing a ball.

According to the real estate agency, William Porteous of Porteous Properties International, the pool is one of the largest private pools in the country and even has a 12-seater swim up bar so you can enjoy a pina colada or martini while you relax in the water.

Alan Bond lived in the property during the 80s and hosted his daughter, Suzanne’s wedding there as well as many other parties and events.

The current owner purchased the home in 2011 for $39m with her then husband who was a mining magnate.

The four story home also features two kitchens, plus an additional pizza, teppanyaki and barbeque house and a bar and games room. Located on the river, the opulent house also has boat mooring and storage.

The current record for highest sale in Perth is $57.5m for a Mosman Park property. Could the Bond house beat that?
