Mandy Moore loves her home renovation and these Instagram pics prove it

Mandy Moore has had a big year. Not only did her hit show This Is Us win an award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, but her year-long renovation is finally over. Moore has started moving into her transformed mid-century modern home.

The actress bought the 3,551-square-foot house, built by architect Harold Zook in 1950, last January. It's undergone a fabulous renovation at the hands of interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel and architect Emily Farnham.

Samuel designed a beautiful '70s inspired in-built velvet couch. Terrazzo tile (a big trend in 2018) also features throughout. Here, Palladiana Terrazzo is on the fireplace ledge.

Moore helped choose the materials in the kitchen.

The kitchen underwent a full demo, removing two old islands and replacing them with one feature island using a waterfall edge Calacatta Venato marble. A skylight floods the area with natural light, a must.

The cabinets were painted in trending colour sage, which is calming while not overpowering to the beautiful materials in the space. 

Speaking of the kitchen, Moore got the organisational treatment from none other than The Home Edit. Her pantry is now a neat-freak's dream space.

The bathroom is old-world glam meets modern muse, and that extra level of glamour differs slightly from the rest of the home.

Moore will be very comfortable getting ready for award shows in this bathroom.

The vanity has brass mirrors and more marble. And check out that brass floor inlay on the tile.

But Moore is "dying" over her bedroom, which she shared on Instagram Stories. It will feature a green upholstered headboard and a custom bed frame. Built-in nightstands and pendant lights indicative of mid-century style.

On the exteriors, the home got a new paint job, custom landscaping, and new surfaces in the pool.
