Watch this genius step ladder fold away into nothing

There are many products out there, that when we discover them, we exclaim "How did nobody think of this before?!" and this is definitely one of those items.

Created by a US company called Hideaway Solutions, the Step 180 Cabinet Step Stool "is designed to provide a homeowner quick and easy accessibility for hard to reach upper cabinets and shelves as well as allowing children more opportunities to thrive in the kitchen."

It retracts both ways, so you can leave it fixed but access twice the cabinets or bench space, and when in the vertical position, is so slender it's like it folds away to nothing.

Specically, 3.8cm. That's how wide this fully functional step is. It gives you an extra 38 centimetres of height, which isn't shabby at all.

It has non-marking wheels, spring assist and adjustable depth, as well as a built-in railing.
