If you want to back a winner, look no further than this switched-on, strategic and dynamic couple. Julia and Sasha are a powerhouse who are not afraid to show their true selves. They will laugh, bicker and get up to mischief as they battle to manage their emotional ups and downs, champagne taste and indecision as they strive towards auction day. But when these girls hit their straps they are force to be reckoned with. “And the best thing is, we get to do it with someone else’s money,” says Julia.

Julia’s day involves styling properties for sale. “I go in to empty homes, transform them, make them look amazing, and that nets the vendors a much higher profit come auction or private sale.” She seems confident that this skill and her daily practice, combined with their hometown advantage, will set them apart from the other contestants. “As two girls from Melbourne, we do have this going for us: we know the weather and we know the shops.”

Sasha reckons another strength is her organisation skills. “I absolutely love spreadsheets, in fact anything to keep things in structure, in organisation.” Her pride and joy is her tool collection. Julia teases: “She asked for battery chargers for her birthday. Seriously. I mean, really?”

In the time they’ve been together they have come to know each other’s weak points. Julia says: “I know for sure if Sash wants something to be done – she wants it done her way, and yesterday.” Sasha adds: “But if I want something done, she’ll take forever to do it.”
