Jennifer Aniston lived with a ghost who really didn't like her roommate

Turns out Jennifer Aniston’s penchant for colourful apartment living isn’t just limited to her decade-long stint in the famous purple-hued Friends pad.
Appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden, the actress told the TV host about sharing her first apartment in Los Angeles with an unnamed roommate and an unfriendly ghost.
Jennifer explains how she had just moved from New York City to California when someone came by her new place and said she had a spirit living in the house and she should get someone to come by and clear it.
“I was like, ‘Oh man. I’ve landed in Los Angeles; we’re talking about ghosts, spirits, and a ghost whisperer.’”
Not just spooky conjecture, Jen says she and her roommate experienced a slew of inexplicable events in the apartment, such as the dishwasher or coffee machine starting up by themselves. “Or the stereo would just turn on at full volume,” she said. “It was terrifying!”

Jen goes on to say she did end up hiring someone to help expel the spirit, who put frankincense into a little dish and chanted things to get it to leave. But the dish cracked when the medium walked into one particular corner of the apartment.
“When we got to the really thick, thick, thick 1975 ashtray that was sitting on the table and that cracked, and she asked me to leave, then I…” Jen said, trailing off, before adding the ghost hated her roommate.
“Did you tell your roommate,” James Corden asked.
“No, I moved out!” Jen replied with a laugh.
“I feel terrible, but I couldn’t say, ‘It didn’t like you.’ She’s fine… I don’t know. I got out of there too quick.”
