Jason's ‘Five Ps’ for success

Jason believes his “Five Ps” will help him win The Block… but foremen Keith and Dam aren’t convinced.
Jason shares the saying was taught to him by a former boss, with the Ps standing for “Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performance”.
As his builder and wife Sarah continue to work on their bathroom plans, our resident plumber Jason, who many would think would be quite busy, heads for lunch. This does not go down well with Keith and Dan. The duo are worried about the lack of action. “We’ve done a lot of Blocks, at the moment you’re going backwards”, they tell Jason bluntly.
“Yeah well, you said that the other day and we finished the room with no problems so…” Jason counters.
“So how long would it take you in the real world to do a bathroom?” They challenge Jason, who replies calmly, “This isn’t the real world Keith and Dan, this is The Block.”
The boys clearly feel Jason has made their point for them. “It is, but it is the real world times ten - so you gotta do it ten times faster, not ten times slower.”
Jason shrugs off the concern, but Sarah isn’t looking quite as confident. Is he channelling his inner calm, knowing he has focused on the Ps… or is Jason’s relaxed attitude misguided? Room reveal will be the ultimate decider. Most viewed in The Block
