How to make all your stuff look excellent

The cloche, while a total hit on Pinterest, can generally look a little too cute and country for my liking – yet I've still found myself secretly mulling over how I could make it work in my space. 

When OP Vase released their kaleidoscope domes at Milan Design Week 2015 I was officially over the line. At $350 a pop, they're on the Christmas list, but until then here's my round up of four cloche decorating ideas that skip the twee look. 

1. Cloche your crystals

2. Put it over something that looks like it wants to get out

Try something that looks dangerous like this snake ceramic found Svenska Maklarhust or a taxidermy. 

3. Cloche your candle 

Pick this marble and glass cloche up for $99 from Maison Balzac.

 4. Put a cloche on a tiny cactus or succulent 

Pick up something similar from $25 at White Elephant Co.
