The 34-year-old is the brains behind the 'Konmari' method, which has ignited an organisation revolution just by encouraging you to ask yourself one simple question - 'does this item spark joy?'.

Master 'Konmari' consultant, Gemma Quinn tells Today that the Konmari method is typically used to tidy the home but can also be used to tidy anything – including your car.

"It's based on joy and achieving your ideal life" she says.

The first step is removing everything from the car, and sub categorising all the items that have been lurking in the crevices of the car.

What follows is joy checking and asking yourself if something is bringing you joy. If it's no longer serving its purpose, then you discard it for good.
