HAY to open first retail store in Sydney

Danish design lovers, this is not a drill. HAY will open the doors to its first Australian retail store in Sydney's Surry Hills on Saturday the 19th of December.
Based on the traditional pillars of Danish design and quality, HAY is known for offering straightforward yet innovative furniture and home décor showcasing the talents of world class designers including Sebastian Wrong, the Bouroullecs, Scholten and Baijings and Stefan Diez.
The new HAY store Sydney will deliver two floors of designer goodness and will be much like the flagship Copenhagen location which is laid-out like an large apartment.
"The opening of HAY in Sydney is the culmination of 12 years with a great partner we are extremely grateful to work with," co-founder of HAY, Mette Hay says in the press.
HAY Sydney will also include a permanent HAY Mini Market concept on ground floor which will be home to accessories such as lighting, textiles, stationery and glassware. It's being managed and operated by Cult Design.
So if you still haven't found something for that person in your life who knows their Eames from their Grossman, consider it done!
