Meet Harry and Tash — The Block's first ever dad and daughter team

The Block 2020 is coming soon, and we've finally been given a look at one of the teams who will be taking on the renovation show.

"Meet Melbourne's Harry and Tash, The Block's first ever…" says the voice-over.

In the clip a young woman and a man are driving up to the site and their arrival causes quite a stir with the other Blockheads.

"Young couple!" declares one contestant. "She's beautiful!" says another, while one Blockhead remarks, "He's punching a bit above his weight."

But not all is as it seams with this team of Blockheads.

Standing in a big group, Tash announces, "Can we just get one thing straight — he's my dad!"

The voice-over confirms it, these two are the first dad and daughter Blockheads.

"Is this a dad and daughter dream team?" asks the voice-over, "Or a down right disaster?"

There's footage of Tash and Harry on a video call where she's asking him to flip the camera to show her something. She ends up looking frustrated and shaking her head.

You can hear Harry shouting, "Natasha, Natasha, Natasha," though the site and she fires back, "Give me one minute please!"

It looks like there's going to be a lot from Harry and Tash in the new season, with one clip playing of him shouting, "Quick! Fire, fire!" as he races through the site.

But also, tensions will flare.

"Dad's just driving me nuts," Tash sobs to what looks like another Blockhead.

The new season will take place in the bayside suburb of Brighton in Melbourne.

This year teams will be bringing five family homes from five different eras back to life, with the promos teasing, "A journey back through time."

The five couples chosen from a record-breaking number of entries for The Block 2020 are:

Harry (57) and Tash (32) — The first father and daughter renovation duo, an IT manager and a social media project manager from Melbourne.
