It's Nursery week on Quick Room Flips so Georgia went in search for the perfect adorable featurepiece...a budget featurepiece.

Sourcing a wooden reindeer from Ikea, Georgia transformed it into something "more fitting for the Australian environment". Using some felt and faux fur, Georgia created something truly adorable.

Georgia reveals her top tips and tricks below.

Chest Of Drawers / Change Table Hack

Here’s how we up-cycled a vintage chest of drawers and converted it into a multiuse storage unit / change table. For this particular flip, we loved the colour of the natural oak, so all that was required was a light sand & wax.

NB: In order to convert the vintage chest of drawers into a functional change table, we removed one of the drawers because the overall height was too tall.

What you’ll need:

        Screw driver

1.       Remove hardware and keep in a safe place (screws and all).

2.       Give the furniture a light sand all over with a medium to fine grade sandpaper and brush away residual dust.

3.       Once sanded, think about whether or not you want to wax the furniture using a clear furniture wax. This helps seal the paint making it more durable, however be aware the wax will deepen the colour of your timber.

4.       Reinstall the hardware, style and ENJOY!
