‘Get rid of it’: Dan and Dani repelled by team’s $250k kitchen, as duo make a shocking call

Exclusive: They say kitchens are the heart of the home, but Dan and Dani certainly weren’t kind when they ripped into this week’s Room Reveals.
While there was a lot to love about the Kitchen, Pantry, WC and Lift spaces, Dani was speechless when she walked into Courtney and Sev’s room in House 4 – and not for the reason you’d hope for.
What has stopped Dan and Dani in their tracks? Nine
Within minutes, Dani noticed “something wasn’t right” about the duo’s kitchen. “And it’s really bothering me,” she squirmed.
Perhaps it was the second sink hidden in the cupboard almost opposite the main sink, and Dan agreed.
“Why do we need another sink?” Dan said baffled. “Get rid of it, you want bench space there.”
You could see a headache forming as Dani was immediately repelled by the floors. They weren’t matching the joinery at all.
“The floors are definitely way more yellow in undertone, and the light is also making it worse,” she reacted.
“And I don’t want to see that,” she said of the crinkled shopping bags hanging off the wall.
It “killed” Dani to rip into the space because it was beautiful the E&S appliances worth a whopping $250,000 were simply “incredible”.

Back in House 1, Adam and Jolene may have been the judges’ favourites this week, but one glaring addition made Dan feel like he was “at the pub” and not a multimillionaire dollar home.
Chantel and Wyatt’s kitchen in House 2, was also brutally slammed by the duo.
From one “weird” inclusion, to a space Dan branded “so boring” he had forgotten it already. Ouch.
Walking into Lisa and Rosco’s kitchen in House 3, Dani worried one major structural decision would “date really quickly”.

And if that’s true, it would be impossible to change now.
While in House 5, Dan made a shocking declaration about Rick and Tayla’s show-stopping design.
“This would have been my winner,” said Dan. But one major issue let him down, and unfortunately, it’s one House 5 is found guilty of weekly.
