Concrete canvas erects buildings in minutes

Back in 2013, collective minds were blown when a concrete canvas material went viral. The wonder stuff, which is flexible enough to be turned into any shape and can be erected in minutes, is now re-trending on reddit.

As the video above shows, the concrete canvas has all the elements of concrete, and can be built by two people without any training using a air pump.

The key to concrete canvas is the use of inflation to create a surface that is designed to handle compressive loading. This allows thin walled-concrete structures to be formed which are both sturdy and lightweight. The fabric is bonded with a plastic inner once inflated.
