Blake Lively’s secret side hustle is interior design

There’s no doubt it pays to have friends in high places, particularly if that friend is Blake Lively.

The actress and mum of two took to Instagram recently to reveal her secret side hustle, one that she gifts her friends for free.

Alongside a pic of furniture stencils and fabric swatches, Ms Lively wrote, “I design my friends’ homes. For free.

“Of all the bad decisions I’ve made, this may be the most fun.”

The 30-year-old went on to thank her two young daughters for unknowingly lending her their clothes for fabric inspo, as well as her bathroom for having a lose tile that also provided “fabric” inspiration (side note; that tile is beautiful).

Almost as though she were accepting an Oscar, Blake’s thank yous continued, with a shout out to furniture brand Dmitriy & Co. for the stencils, and her mum for the sleep disorder she inherited that enables her to stay up all night and design.

Although yet to see the finished product, we’re guessing Blake’s mates are confident the star’s taste is refined enough to create a stunning space.

And if not, well… it was free anyway.
