Big W release cult favourite animal ottomans for budget price

Big W’s living range has a cult following, with multiple Facebook groups dedicated to alerting shoppers about budget and trendy products to purchase.  

When major retailers like Big W, Kmart or Target drop a fresh release to their homewares line, there’s typically one that is a stand out among bargain hunters.

On this occasion, it’s the $49 animal ottoman that has created a frenzy among shoppers who are fervently posting about the adorable furniture piece.

Last year, the animal stools flew of supermarket shelves when they were launched - and the retailer has similar plans for this their new line of animal ottomans.

The impressive range of kids’ room must-haves have struck a chord with parents who are racing to get one for their children.

Big W’s category manager, Monique Yourallis pointed out that the launch was the company directly responding to fans request.

“We have decided to expand the range of the ottomans due to their huge popularity last time. Customers have previously requested a cow option, and we’ve heard them loud and clear!”

“We’ve also added a lion option to jump on the trending theme of Kids Jungle rooms, with the new Lion King movie coming out soon. Last time, the triceratops and unicorn sold out within 4 days, so we expect stock to move quick.”

The latest addition, which features a mix of lion, cow and sheep stools has generated a frenzy on Big W Mums Australia.

“OMG! So cute!” one mum wrote.

“OMG I AM GETTING THESE DONT EVEN FIGHT ME!” one shopper posted enthusiastically.

Kmart’s timber occasional chair sparked a similar level of pandemonium a couple months back.  

One keen Instagrammer alerted shoppers about the chair's availability and it had similar success.
