The girls are stunned to learn they have a big problem with their floor

Scott Cam’s eagle eye has already picked up a problem on The Block, which had so far gone unnoticed. Strolling around the site, he spotted another potential drama – the floor height in Bianca and Carla’s master bedroom.

The girls are planning a luxurious parquetry flooring this week. The problem is that once it is laid, it will sit higher than that of the ensuite, creating an awkward step between the rooms. A different style of under floor heating may have caused the issue but the girls were frustrated there was a problem at all.

“How does that happen?” questioned Bianca. “It’s sorta 101,” admitted Scott Cam of the error.

Scott pointed out the error had been picked up early enough to be rectified. “Sort it out!” he urged the girls.

Thankfully, the entire floor hadn’t been laid, so while they had to pull up what had been done, the girls were hoping things were salvageable.

Foreman Keith headed up to check on the floor heights, confirming that they were “all over the place.” He suggested some options to repair the problem, which everyone was happy with. “We’ll sort it out,” the head tradesman said gruffly.

They made short work of ripping up the floor boards and solving the issue, but the big question is… will this cause a rift between the girls and their tradesmen, who they have trusted implicitly?
