Aussie John sells Point Piper penthouse for more than $13.3 million

Aussie John (Symond) might have recently decided to opt out selling his Point Piper mansion despite a generous offer of $100 million, but he hasn't had the same sentimental feels for a nearby penthouse which he just offloaded for more than $13.3 million.

The two-storey spread, commands the upper-levels of a prestigious boutique building of just four and captures views over across Double Bay to the city skyline, Bridge and Opera House from its celebrated peninsula vantage point.

Alec Tzannes gave the property a lavish refurbishment two years ago. It features three-bedrooms, three-baths and three-car spaces. 

Following and open-plan layout the free-flowing living and dining space is home to a gourmet kitchen finished in Italian marble, complete with a wine fridge and espresso machine. 

The master bedroom is home to a fireplace and sweeping views. 

The property was listed in October, only one month after Symond listed his waterfront mansion which he withdraw from the market earlier this year. 

Symond reportedly bought the apartment $8.16 million in 20210 from jailed fraudster Nati Stoliar.
