In pictures: The teams put their design skills to the test in first $10,000 Block challenge - but there's a sneaky catch
There's nothing like a shock twist to shake up the first Block challenge of the season!
Over three days, teams had to design, shape, upholster and style their very own kids' bed head.
The catch? It must be used in their kids' bedroom for Sunday's Room Reveal!

For judging, Scotty called on Darren Palmer and Snooze expert Adrian Galiazzo who know a thing or two about bedrooms.
Winners would take home a whopping $10,000 thanks to Snooze.
But that wasn't the only prize on offer...
The winners would also be taking with them one of the first David Bromley Sesame Street original paintings.
"I'm guessing that would be worth $30,000 upwards," said Sonny.
Just imagine hanging this up in your kids bedroom!
That still wasn't all...
Winners would also be taking home the Bonus Point Gnome.
With competition this tight, it'll definitely come in handy.

Teams rushed to finish their bed heads and style them.
To help with the challenge, Scotty also invited Daylesford local and specialist upholster Andrew Hemming.
"These bed heads are going into high-end properties and I have very high standards," said Andrew.
We hope they're listening as he too would be helping with judging!
House 4: Sonny and Alicia
House 4 went with a striking scallop design which they splashed with faux (vegan) leather.
The couple said their queen-sized bed was inspired by their 12-year-old daughter, Aria.
They added interest with a split down the middle but did it pay off?

We guess not!
Darren tried to subtly argue that it looked like "somebody bending over".
"A plumber's crack!" Scotty jumped in.
The judges acknowledged that it's tough to upholster this type of material.
"You can see they had some challenges but it's a pretty good job," said Andrew.
House 1: Emma and Ben
Emma and Ben made a matching pair of bed heads for their twin room.
They went classic with their shape, adding texture and colour with a maroon boucle fabric.
The game plan was to get the fabric completed and add detail, including buttons and the piping on the edge if they had time.

Turns out they did have time and both finer details scored massive ticks!
"I'm so impressed," said Scott. "I didn't think they were capable of doing that."
Adrian thought it was a "classic look executed beautifully".
While Darren thought it was a lovely fabric choice, they lost major points with styling.
He said the charcoal bedsheets "sucked all the life out of the bed".
House 2: Han and Can
Han and Can went with a simple cloud-shaped bed head for their nursery on Sunday.
House 2 were worried the curve would be a challenge, but Can was up for it!
"It's pretty impressive, isn't it?" said Scotty as he marveled at the design.

Specialist upholster Andrew Hemming was "so impressed".
"They chose the hardest fabric to use, the biggest bed head and maybe one of the most difficult to upholster," he said.
Shelley Craft loved its versatility, while Adrian said there "was nothing quite like it on the market".
