Week 7 Recap: The moments that mattered as the teams took on kitchens and transformed a house for charity

Jealously raged, kitchen stress grew daily and tears flowed. But somehow, the teams united (as best they could) for an inspiring charity house makeover.

Steph and Gian's Master Bedroom blew everyone away

Marty Fox gave the pair a perfect 10 as the judges agreed Steph and Gian's master suite was simply masterful.

The contestants were equally wowed, with Eliza and Liberty left awe–struck as they admitted it resembled something you'd see on The Kardashians.

Well, almost everyone.

Leah, Ash, Kristy and Brett didn't agree the space was worthy of a perfect 10 and were bold enough to let Steph and Gian know.

Jealousy ruled when some lost out on a special prize

Houses 2 and 3 were extremely salty about missing the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime chance to race cars around the legendary Phillip Island racetrack.

Brett felt the opportunity was wasted on the winners and their guests, and noted they wouldn't even drive the cars properly.

He and House 2 even attempted to buy the prize off Steph and Gian...

But the cars were driven, and driven properly. By those who won the prize.

Scotty issued a stern warning

Scott Cam laid down the law to the sisters, telling them at this stage of the competition they needed to stop whining and start owning their build. .

That included reassessing their build team.

The girls met with a potential new build team

Wracked with guilt and stressing over what to do, the girls skulked off site to meet a potential new build team.

The stress of kitchen week was too much for some

The sisters clashed over unbalanced workloads, when Eliza went off to paint her nails while Liberty stuck around and painted walls.

Leah worried about her design choices and fretted she might completely 'stuff up' the all–important kitchen.

But House 3 dodged budget stress and even bounced back from Brett's cranky mood.

They instead embraced a unique design feature that impressed Scott and Shelley.

The divide between the houses was never more obvious

The teams united to makeover a charity house

A worthy cause managed to soothe some tensions, as the teams came together to transform a community centre.

The stunning makeover wowed judge Darren Palmer and the interior team of Houses 2, 3 and 5 were declared the winners.

(But one cheeky move in particular left people talking...)
