The Block's Dylan and Jenny are left in hysterics as her mother's rental car gets bogged down in mud on-site

Dylan and Jenny were – quite literally – bogged down with things to do as they prepared for their living and dining room reveal this week.

The tradie couple tried to get a head start with their Suncorp Game Changer, after telling host Scott Cam they planned to make a sustainable tiny house that could be used as an Airbnb.

While Jenny struggled to find a trailer for the portable home, her mum Debbie came to the rescue and delivered one to the Blockheads that she'd found on Gumtree.

But after arriving in the dead of night, the couple woke up to a disaster as they discovered the rental car used to pull the trailer had been bogged down in mud.

"It's very muddy in Gisborne, and we bogged the car. Well, Dylan [did!]" Jenny giggled to the camera.

The camera then flashed to Dylan laughing hysterically on-site, after he was the one who had parked the car in the mud the night before.

The situation was made even more frantic after Jenny revealed that her mother was supposed to have returned the hire car after a "couple of hours".

"...Then mum comes running down like, 'I've got to get this car back!' – she's like a bloody crazy woman!" Jenny laughed.

"I don't know what you were thinking – what were you thinking?" Debbie was seen asking Dylan.

"I'm already in trouble. I've had every single manager from Supreme Caravans saying, "Where is the ute?" I'm like, 'It's coming!'" she added.

Dylan was the forced to sit in the drivers seat of the trapped car, while it was dragged out of the mud by a bigger vehicle.

He couldn't contain his laughter as he recalled the moment to the camera, before howling: "Just another day on The Block, isn't it!"

Through smiles, Debbie said: "It wasn't meant to be dragged out of a ditch, it was just meant to be delivered back nicely! I'm glad you think it's funny, cause it's not!"

She then shouted to Dylan, "Thanks Dyl! Love you, deeply, madly!"
