The Block's Dylan and Jenny are about to make history as the show's first ever tradie couple in 2022
The brand new season of The Block will premiere on Sunday August 7 at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
One couple hoping to take the series by storm are Dylan and Jenny, the show's first ever tradie couple who hope to use their skills on the tools to win in 2022.
In an exclusive video which you can watch above, Jenny explains how she works with her builder fiancé as his apprentice – making her the first ever female tradie on The Block.

"People will underestimate me because I do love to glam up, put my makeup on, do my hair... but during the week, I'm a tradie lady!" the 25-year-old says.

Also in the preview, Jenny is seen parading around in an array of glam ensembles, before ditching them all for a work uniform and tool belt.
"I'll show all the girls how it's done!" she laughs.

Host Scott Cam then describes the duo as the "ultimate couple", while the voiceover adds: "Can these loved-up chippies cut it in the country?"

"Get the nail bag on... spruce it up!" Jenny laughs. "Jenny from The Block's on the tools!"
Dylan, 28, and Jenny met years ago while working in the Canadian ski resort town of Whistler.
They recently started their own building company called Smooth Sailing Designs.
The duo were building their own home in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast when they received the call to be on The Block.

The couple hope to use their skills to win the competition. Nine
"We are building our own dream home in Palm Beach, getting married and now doing this. It's an amazing time," Jenny previously explained.

"When I tell people I am doing my apprenticeship they always say you don't build, you don't do anything. But I do – I do everything," she says.
