Troy finally gets his dream seaside smooch session

The more cynical amongst us may put it down to the champagne consumed but the romantics will just go along with the theory that after all this time, Ash finally felt overwhelmed with her feelings for Troy and the two had the beach smooch that Troy has been hankering for since the beginning of the experiment.

Back then, Ashley shot down his advances quickly and effectively. “You’re just a bit too keen for me at the moment,” Ashley said at the time. But after a dream date – where Troy initially remained too keen for Ashley – the blonde finally pashed her husband back… and back.

Troy started the date saying he was desperate to help Ashley find the “elusive butterflies” she can’t seem to locate. Whisking her off to Palm Beach in a seaplane, Ashley seemed suitably impressed.

“So, what other surprises have you got for me?” Ashley asked of the date. “First surprise is right here, right now,” said Troy, leaning in for a kiss. “No!” Ashley recoiled.  

“That was adorable,” smiled Ashley, as the two pashed their way around the sand, cuddling and kissing – and giggling. “I absolutely loved it! It rhymed so awesomely.”

Troy couldn’t seem to believe his luck. “I was amazed that Ash was reaching out for me for the first time, really,” he said. “And kissing me just over and over again.”

“This date was breathtaking. So amazing,” said Ashley, beaming and thanking Troy for all his preparation. “I’m gonna remember this spot every year on our anniversary – we are gonna be right back here,” Troy grinned, as the pair kissed some more.

If only Troy had known – Ashley’s kryptonite was hipster love songs.
