'I couldn't hide': MAFS' Tori Adams opens up about the 'struggles' of her 'nightmare' skin journey in an honest post
Married At First Sight's Tori Adams has opened up about the "struggles" of her skin journey in a raw and honest video.
Taking to social media this week, the Season 11 bride shared a photo in the months leading up to her time in the experiment – admitting she felt both "self conscious" and "insecure".

The post came after a number of fans recently commented on "how nice" her skin was, Tori revealed. But the reality star wanted to remind fans that not everything is always what it seems.
"The truth is, I struggled with acne my entire life right up until I was, say 27," began Tori, the age she was when she entered the MAFS experiment.
"I always had terrible, terrible skin and it was a real hassle and struggle for me," she said.
Tori then shared a photo of her skin during that time in her life, explaining she had days where her skin wasn't "as inflamed".

"That wasn't as bad as it got, it got way worse, I had welts on my face," she added.

"My skin affected so many parts of my life on a day where it was bad.
"[It] was just red and bumpy. Covering it with makeup made it look worse, it made it more painful, it would make me breakout out more. It was just a nightmare."
In a follow up video, Tori added: "It made me really insecure, it made me self-conscious to be out."
She admitted she was "trying all these different things" right up until she applied for MAFS, which brought on a wave of anxiety.

"Not because I was anxious to be on TV," she explained. "I couldn't hide my skin on TV... I had severe cystic acne."
Tori said she tried every lotion and serum to help treat her skin. She even admitted to completely changing her diet and visiting a naturopath.

"I spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars on all these services and just nothing worked."
Tori wanted to make it clear that she "was not a doctor" but simply wanted to share her journey and what she struggled with.
Tori's TikTok fans flooded the comments with questions about her journey with many commenting how now her "skin is glowing".

Tori was paired with Jack Dunkley during the experiment.
Despite having one of the most controversial relationships in MAFS history, Jack and Tori had the "last laugh" when they returned to the Reunion stronger than ever.

Celebrating the new year with Jack, Tori shared on her Instagram: "There's so much to be grateful for this year 💫 excited to see what 2025 brings us @jack_dunkley 💖."
To which Jack replied: "Thank you for the memories honey, bring on 2025 🔥❤️
