She recreated the photo from her celebration of buying the property with one now, as she becomes a landlord for tenants in the home after recently moving to Queensland with husband Bryce Ruthven and their three-year-old twins, Levi and Tate.

"Fast forward five years later and here we are... I'm married, a mum, jobless, five kilos heavier, living on the Gold Coast and now a landlord to the home where it all began," Liss wrote.

She said it hadn't been easy, but she felt proud of the progress she'd made.

"I have my health, my family, my parents (my mum especially, who took care of everything post move), my friends and being in this position to be able to be a landlord in the first place makes it all worthwhile."

Liss' followers celebrated the 35-year-old's journey.

"Love the honestly and also always seeing the positives," one fan wrote.

"You look stunning, now and then," said another.

However, one critic wrote that Liss "doesn't seem to say much about Bryce" in her post and that it seemed like he was "the last thing on her mind", prompting a clap back from the mother-of-two.

"While I'm happily married, I'm still an individual. The achievement of buying a home, which this Reel is referencing, is about my purchasing achievement as a single woman who life has since grown... my marriage contributes to me but it does not define me."
