MAFS' Martha Kalifatidis shows support for her mum Mary as she reflects on decision that 'transformed her life'
Married At First Sight's Martha Kalifatidis is a social media queen in her own right, but she'd made it a family business by showing her mum Mary the ropes.
Mary Kalifatidis has become just as loved by Martha's fans for her humour and down-to-earth nature and has opened up about how her social media journey has "transformed" her life.

These days, Mary is a social media icon of her own with more than 100,000 followers, but it wasn't always that way.
"Just a few years ago, I was so hesitant to even hear my voice and to share my life journey with the world. Social media felt daunting, and I wasn't sure if this was for me," Mary explained in a new post.
But she was encouraged by Martha to give it a go.

"I began posting black and white photos of movie stars. Martha said 'no, that's not what you do on Instagram, it was to be about you'. So I decided to take a leap of faith and started sharing my passions about my cooking, my family, my triumphs," she said.
Even though she thought it was "not the best content", Mary "slowly but surely" found her community – "a group of amazing people who support me and encourage me every day".

Mary, who is now known for sharing recipes, glam fashion and family moments, said social media had helped grow her confidence.
"Sitting here now, right at the moment I feel more empowered than ever. Social media has transformed my life, opening doors I could never have imagined," she continued.

She ended with a thank you to her followers, and a message to follow your dreams.
"To anyone who's ever doubted themselves, remember: your story matters. Don't be afraid to share it. You never know who might be inspired by your journey."
Martha and her fiancé Michael Brunelli, who she met during Season 6 of MAFS, responded to Mary's post with their typical family banter.
"Wow this is very sweet from you Mary. Now how about some fresh content for everyone," Martha wrote.
She also joked about Mary sharing her message alongside a "low-res, unedited photo" from a professional photoshoot: "Very on brand for you doll."

Michael poked fun at their living situation, with him, Martha and their son Lucius all living in Mary's house.
"You've come a LONG way Mary… even if you do come into my office (your former lounge room) or my bedroom (your former bedroom) and ask me the same social media questions over and over," he joked.
"From waiting for to us leave the house so you could do your voiceovers to being natural on camera in Martha's TikToks! 👏🏽👏🏽"

Fans of the family have even claimed that they would love to watch a reality show of their hilarious dynamics.
"Please tell me you're all finally doing a keeping up with the K's!?" one fan wrote on a recent post.
