'Sad I even need to preface this': MAFS' Martha Kalifatidis hits back at online 'mum shamers' after posting a photo of her son Lucius
Married At First Sight's Martha Kalifatidis has hit back at online 'mum shamers' after posting a photo of her 18-month-old son Lucius online.
During a catch-up with her 710,000 Instagram followers, Martha shared a clip of Lucius sitting in a baby chair while watching her mum Mary cook dinner.

Martha swiftly followed up with a second post defending her choice to keep Lucius seated, saying it was "sad I even need to preface this".
"Before everyone comes at me with their advice opinion. He doesn't sit in this chair all day. He has heaps of time playing in his nursery and outside," Martha's caption began.

"He was sitting here because I was about to film, Michael was in a work meeting and Mary was cooking."
Martha continued that she decided to seat him in the chair "instead of leaving him play without supervision".
It appeared Martha was at her wits end with online critics finding fault with her parenting choices.

"It's sad I even need to preface this but I'm kind of running out of patience with the internet know-it-all-perfect-mums.
"Like being a mum isn't hard enough already, the guilt, the stress of whether you're doing things right is a daily battle.
Martha concluded: "So unless someone is asking, keep your opinion to yourself or phone a friend and discuss with them."

The 36-year-old is currently recovering from surgery after having a breast explant in early July 2024.
Just last week, Martha revealed the results of having her breast implants removed after having them for 15 years.
Martha shared just one regret after the procedure – "not having done it sooner".

Martha and fiancé Michael welcomed Lucius in 2023. Instagram
MAFS viewers met Martha in 2018 where she married on-screen husband Michael Brunelli.
The couple went on to get engaged in 2021 and welcomed their son Lucius in February 2023.
