Former MAFS groom Jono Pitman welcomes baby daughter
Former Married At First Sight participant Jono Pitman has announced the birth of his baby girl, River Mae Pitman.
The bub weighed in at 4.1kgs and is the second child for Jono and fiancée Rebecca Pattison. Their son Max was born in July 2019 and the couple got engaged on Christmas Eve later that year.
"What a whirlwind of a ride but every single minute was more than worth it you perfect not so little human. You are so loved already baby girl," he posted on Instagram alongside a sweet photo.
"@becpattison you are an absolute super star, the love I have for you can't be described in words."
Bec also paid tribute to Jono for his support during the birth in an Instagram post.
"And to @jonopitman19 my rock, I honestly wouldn't of been able to get through the last few days without you," she posted. "From holding my hand through every contraction to wiping away my tears in theatre, the constant reassurance and support you gave me was amazing and I couldn't of dreamt of a better partner."
Jono was a groom on Married At First Sight. Nine
Jono appeared in Season 2 of MAFS in 2016 and was matched with Clare Verrall. Despite blossoming in the early stages, their marriage was short-lived.
