MAFS' Jessika Power caught up in online dating scam following heartbreaking split from boyfriend Brent Anthony

Married At First Sight's Jessika Power has been caught up in an online dating catfishing scam following her split from British DJ Brent Anthony.

The 31-year-old took to her Instagram stories to warn her followers that she was being impersonated on the online dating app Tinder.

Jess posted a screenshot of a message sent from a concerned fan who wrote: "Just thought you should know that someone has used your photos and name and (age?) on Tinder."

Jess revealed that she'd been sent the fake dating profile from a number of people.

"Hahahaha I literally JUST had this sent to me by another person. I'm not on Tinder so I'm sure the account will be taken down soon if they can't verify it 🤣."

Jessika seemed to be taking it all in her stride, jokingly writing "Sorry fellas" to anyone who thought the newly-single reality star was dating again.

The former MAFS bride recently confirmed her break-up from partner of eight months Brent Anthony in an Instagram Q&A with fans.

She explained that Brent was caring for her dog Sushi while she'd been absent from home in recent weeks following a family tragedy.

"Sushi is with my ex as I had to leave in a rush for my father's funeral, but I am trying to get him on a flight asap from France to the UK," Jessika said.

"If anyone knows of any airlines that can help let me know as it's a little unfair he's having to watch my dog whilst we aren't together anymore"

While Jessika said that she and Brent "have a lot of care for each other" she was also very honest about her true feelings in the relationship.

One fan commented on a post of hers writing, "I'm sad you and Brent broke up... you looked so happy with him."

Jess replied: "I really wasn't and I hit a lot of my emotions and embarrassment from the internet."

Jess rose to fame on Season 6 of MAFS, where she was married to Mick Gould.

She was involved in one of the most controversial scandals of the season after she had an affair with another groom Dan Webb.

The affair unravelled at a Commitment Ceremony but Jess and Dan's relationship didn't last long with the pair calling it quits by the end of the season.
