MAFS newlyweds Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice recreate first dance on live TV: 'Don't drop her'

Married At First Sight newlyweds Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice were given a do-over on live TV – by recreating their first dance.
Only this time, Clint was reminded not to "drop" his beloved bride in a cheeky nod to Jacqui's memorable MAFS wedding in 2025.
The MAFS couple, who met and found love after the 2025 series ended, revealed their real-life wedding, of course, was nothing like the ones to their on-screen exes.

"Please don't drop her," Sylvia laughed.
She was referring to Jacqui's on-screen wedding to MAFS match Ryan Donnelly who accidentally dropped Jacqui during their first dance in front of all their guests.
The groom tried to dip his bride before shouting "I'm so sorry!" at the time.

Despite Jacqui laughing off the incident with her bridesmaids, Ryan was horrified: "I'll be the first groom in the history of Australia to drop the bride."
Jacqui's recreation of her first dance with real-life husband Clint was certainly much more magical.

Inside Jacqui and Clint's lavish destination wedding
Jacqui and Clint officially tied the knot last month in Jacqui's home country, New Zealand, after a one-year engagement.
"It was really amazing," the bride gushed on Today Extra. "It was private, intimate, and it just went perfectly. The best part was I got to marry Clint.

The couple were surrounded by their closest friends and family.
"We took everyone out on the boat and came back for an intimate penthouse soiree," she beamed.
For their big day, Clint stepped out in a timeless back tuxedo and bow tie, while bride Jacqui looked breathtaking in a sweeping white gown.
She wore her hair out in loose waves, decorated with a trailing lace veil, and unveiled a second look for the fun-filled reception.
Jacqui and Clint's romance
Jacqui and Clint dropped news of their engagement in April 2025 while their Reunion episode was airing.
The engagement came as a surprise to fans as the couple had only confirmed their relationship during the Dinner Reunion the episode prior.

Jacqui was previously married to Ryan Donnelly in the experiment, but the couple ended their romance in an explosive Final Vows.
Meanwhile, Clint was married to Lauren Hall after her failed marriage to Eliot Donovan. The couple left early on into their relationship, and Clint and Jacqui connected after her romance with Ryan ended.
They confirmed their romance at the start of the Reunion Dinner Party.
"At least we found each other," Jacqui said to Clint during their piece-to-camera.
"I didn't expect to meet anyone like you," Clint replied.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
