From overcoming low sexual chemistry, to Bec's involvement in the drama taking a toll, to her declaration of love that wasn't reciprocated, there was never a dull moment in their marriage.
Heading into Final Vows, Bec believed they would get the fairytale ending and hoped Danny was saving his "I love you" for the moment.
But was he on the same page?
Ahead of the decision, Bec and Danny returned to their respective homes in Adelaide and Melbourne.
Saying goodbye to their apartment was a bittersweet moment.
"We've had some amazing times here, we've had some horrendous times here," Danny said.
"We've gone through stress together, happy times, sad times, tears, everything together."
After a few days in Adelaide, Bec had big hopes for Final Vows.
"I think Danny loves me. I think he does love me, but I need to hear it from him and I think Final Vows is the place I need to hear it," she said.
"I want to love and I want to be adored, and I deserve it."
Hoping for a happily ever after, Bec certainly dressed the part with a corset-style guide.
"I am manifesting that it's going to be the best day ever and I'm going to hear exactly what I want to hear and we run off into the future together," she said.
However, Danny was unsure of his decision.
While he'd had some of the best memories of his life with Bec, there were many lows that weighed on his mind.
"One of the major doubts for me is when there's a problem, which isn't even a big problem, it can escalate into a big problem because I don't feel I can really talk to Bec," he said.
"Sometimes I'm met with aggression and she can get her back up pretty easily."
Bec's Final Vows:
The couple had a reunion full of nervous energy before Bec launched into her vows.
"When I first met you at the end of the aisle, I'll be honest, I didn't feel an instant spark. I remember thinking you weren't quite my type, and maybe even that you were a bit of a f---boy," Bec began, earning a shocked laugh from her husband.
"But as the days went on, I started to see something different. Someone kind, someone grounded and quietly protective," she continued.
"Our honeymoon, we had moments of laughter, connection and excitement. When we moved into our apartment, I felt hopeful. It started to feel like we were building something real.
"But then you told me we had low sexual chemistry..."
Bec's Final Vows:
Despite this, Bec was proud of how they worked through things.
"We chose our relationship and instead of walking away, we worked on it and tried to reconnect. One kiss every morning and one kiss every night," she read.
"In Intimacy Week, the Fantasy Night changed everything. For the first time, I felt like we truly connected emotionally, physically and spiritually.
"It was the moment I realised this wasn't just an experiment anymore, it was something real and something worth fighting for."
Bec's Final Vows:
Bec spoke through some of their tougher moments.
"Of course it hasn't all been smooth sailing. We've had our arguments," she said.
"At the third Dinner Party, I let my emotions get the better of me and I could see the disappointment in your eyes.
"When you said that I embarrassed you, I was crushed, because your opinion of me actually matters so much."
Bec's Final Vows:
She then showered Danny with compliments.
"You are, without a doubt, the funniest man I've ever met and I love that about you," she said.
"You light up every room, and every day with you brings smiles and laughter. Love isn't just about the good moments; it's about who you choose to stand beside when things get hard."
She took a big, nervous breath and stretched out her arms before continuing.
"Daniel, you're my best friend, my safe space. You make me a better person and you lift me up when I'm down.
"You're the kind of man everyone wants in their corner. You're loyal, funny and endlessly giving. I've watched you be the best friend to everyone around you, always the first to help or make people smile."
Bec's Final Vows:
Just in case there was any doubt, Bec made her decision clear as she looked ahead to a life together.
"My dog Coco loved you from the moment she met you, and that told me everything I needed to know about your heart," she continued.
"My family adore you, and seeing you with them, seeing how naturally you fit into my world, has made me realise how much I want you to stay in it.
"I look at you now and I see the man I want to build a life with. A man who has made me see a future for myself that I didn't see before. The man who makes me laugh, challenges me and reminds me that love can grow in the most unexpected places.
"So today, standing here, I'm choosing you. And I promise to choose you every day from here on out. Because, simply put, I love you."
Danny responded with an awkward smile.
"Aw, thanks so much, that was beautiful," he said.
His nerves were obvious.
"Do you want me to go now?" he asked.
Yes, Danny, you're up!
