Girl code vs Bro code: MAFS participants speak out on what it means to them

It goes without saying, the 'code' has been broken, with Ines and Sam's affair hitting the bedroom. Interestingly, when we sat down with this year's Married At First Sight brides and grooms, they all had an opinion.

Girl code

For anyone thinking about coming after Nic, know that it may conflict with Cyrell's thoughts on girl code.

"Don't flirt with my man. Don't touch my man. Don't ever think about my man in a sexual way," she pronounced.

But for many of our other brides it goes further. Elizabeth revealed it's about having another girl's back.

"Support them… We've got to not bring another woman down," she preached.

Bro code

For Sam, "Bro code is just something that should be kept with the boys."

"I'd never date a mate's ex… If I don't know them it's different," he added.

Dino revealed it's about respect, while Michael brought it back to it's 'simplest form' saying "What's said to the boys stays with the boys."
