Any pizza lover will tell you the prospect of eating left-over slices the next day is almost more exciting than the delivery itself.

But with that comes a dilemma: eat the old pizza cold and hard or hot and soggy.

Never fear, our very own Elizabeth has a solution that seems so obvious we can’t believe we didn’t think of it ourselves.

Alone in her hotel room after being ditched by husband Sam, who was attending a funeral, Lizzie was left with little to do but stew over the situation and eat snacks.

“I thought ‘let’s just put it in the toaster see how it goes’ and it tasted fresher than when it was delivered,” she revealed.

When it comes to the specific setting, Lizzie doesn’t have any recommendations adding that she “just flicked it down, hoped for the best”.

However, you might not want to try it at home.

“It started to burn at one point,” she said.
