MAFS' Cam Merchant responds after finding fake dating profile using his pictures
If you're a fan of Married At First Sight and were looking for matches on dating app Badoo, then you might have stumbled across a familiar face, with an unfamiliar name.
MAFS groom Cam Merchant — who is still very much married to Jules Robinson — revealed that a fake dating profile using his pictures has popped up in Ireland. And rather than being outraged, the real Cameron Merchant seems to find his impersonator, supposedly named Mark, amusing.

"And I'm back in the dating game & back on the market…😂In Ireland on Badoo dating app…🤔& my name is Mark apparently," Cam captioned a post revealing a picture of the fake dating profile.

The dating profile revealed that 'Mark' is 35 and likes Netflix, swimming, crazy golf, bowling, rugby, movies and walks. He's also an occasional smoker and drinker.
"I'm 35(🙏🏽😘) Enjoy Netflix, crazy golf ⛳️ & long walks along the beach. Can't believe I'm an 'occasional smoker' though🚬 but doing my best to quit entirely (You got this Mark👊🏽)," he wrote.
"So if you're lucky enough to match & go on a date with Mark in Ireland… (First of all please know it isn't actually me 🙃) & secondly You better bring your Crazy Golf A game ⛳️🏌🏽😂," he added.
Scrolling through the uploaded pictures, one even features a second person very obviously cropped out of the photo. Yes, it was Jules. Yes, she noticed.

"They cut me out!!! How rude 😂😂😂😂," Jules commented on the post, which received over 1,200 likes.
Fellow MAFS bride Kerry Knight also noted the crop. "HAHAHA is that Jules' head they've cropped out of there too?! 😂 oh my days," she wrote.
Many of Cam's MAFS co-stars also found the fating profile amusing.
"What's the guy going to say when he turns up on the date? Oh hey, I look a bit different to my pictures but let me buy you a Guinness anyway," Mike Gunner commented.
"Hahahahahah😂," wrote Nic Jovanovic.
It's safe to say that for anyone looking to go on a date with 'Mark' they're getting set up for disappointment, with Cameron and Jules' marriage still going strong.
