Exclusive: We asked the MAFS 2026 cast for their worst dating stories – you won't believe what they had to say
EXCLUSIVE: There's an unspoken list of topics that are off limits on a first date.
Sitting somewhere, probably rather high, on that list would be the matter of personal bowel movements.
So when it's brought up not once, but twice, in one evening, it's fair to put that one in the category of 'Horror Dating Stories', just as Married At First Sight groom Luke did in the exclusive video above.

As the MAFS 2026 cast retold the stories of their worst dates ever to 9Entertainment, Luke explained that five minutes into a first date, the woman he was with told him that she needed to go to the bathroom.
"Then she starts messaging me, saying, "I'm on the toilet. I'm doing a number two. I have diarrhea!' You know, just being very graphic," he recalled.

Being the first time they had ever met, Luke gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued the date. But you won't believe what happened when they left the restaurant.

But Luke isn't the only 2026 contestant to have a horror story.

Julia couldn't believe it when her date wasn't reading the signs. Nine
"I did go on a date with one guy once who just wasn't really reading the room," Julia explains.
"He just grabbed me and planted one on me!"
While Luke may have struggled with an oversharer in the past, Scott had the opposite issue.

"Sat at the table and she did not talk, and it was very awkward," he recalled.
