And each Sunday, the Commitment Ceremonies are a chance for each couple to unpack any concerns before making a very important decision – including one groom's "hurtful" mistake.

"I feel like I can see myself falling in love with Rachel," shared Steven.
The bride shed tears of happiness and said she felt the same, despite past relationship trauma.

The last time Rachel had a man say "I love you", the very next day he said he couldn't remember saying it.
But she "believed" Steven, and that was both amazing and scary.
Her biggest fear was that Steven would pack up and go back to his life in Sydney after the experiment ended, leaving her behind.
Steven was looking forward to "proving her wrong".

The pair were working through hiccups, from Alissa calling David a "financially weak man" to her "needing fuel" in the relationship or she would "look elsewhere".
David felt "cautious" to bring anything up with Alissa over how she'd react, while Alissa was frustrated that David was only bringing this up now.
"I don't know if our relationship will last in the real world… if this is the energy," Alissa admitted.
The pair needed to be honest about what they wanted post-experiment, otherwise "the last couple of months would be a waste of time".

The decisions were just a formality after Chris and Sam broke up during Homestays.
Despite things not working out, the grooms hugged it out as they said goodbye to the experiment.

Scott barely sat down before he became emotional, explaining that he wanted to be honest but he was worried about Gia's reaction.
John Aiken told the groom they could no longer be "fake" and had to open up.
Finally, Scott explained that at least once a week Gia had pressured him to say he loved her, and she called out his masculinity when he didn't.
Gia said she felt rejected and had also become scared to bring up issues because she knew arguing pushed him away.
They were in a bad spot, but Scott was excited to put the expert advice into action and try to work through it.

Bec worried that Danny had more reservations about their relationship than he had let on, fearing that he "just wasn't that into [her]".
Danny claimed that wasn't true, but Bec wanted him to prove her wrong with his actions.
"You have had enough time to know if I am the type of person you want to be with," she cried.
"You do not have to tell me you love me, but I'm not going to walk down to Final Vows with someone who is a maybe about me."
The experts told Danny it was on him to prove himself to Bec – could he do it?

Stella and Filip had finalised their plan, with Filip agreeing to move to Sydney after the experiment.
They couldn't be happier about finding their person, but first were excited to finish the experiment at Final Vows.

Stella thanked Mel for her advice, realising last week she was being unreasonable to Filip out of fear.
The pair talked "proposals" and timelines leaving the experts blown away.
Filip hinted perhaps in six to 12 months time, a proposal could be on the cards. But Stella couldn't wait.
"The sooner the better!" she said as they looked at life beyond the experiment.

Gia faced the experts since she walked out last week and John was ready to unpack that.
He called her recent behaviour "very high school" while Gia said she "felt attacked" during the screenshot scandal as the focus turned on her and not what the texts said.
"I know I was wrong, looking back now I wish I'd never sent the screenshots," she confessed. "It was childish behaviour."
