They say second time's a charm and returning groom Eliot, 35, was hoping that would be the case as he tied the knot yet again on Married At First Sight.
A month earlier, Eliot wed Lauren but threw in the towel just three days into their marriage after claiming he didn't feel a connection.

While Eliot hoped his second bride would live up to his high expectations, the more important question was would he live up to hers? And what would she think of him being married on MAFS once before?
Veronica, 32, self-describes as being loud and full of life with her biggest dating red flags being lack of manners and empathy.
With Eliot swearing he's a changed man, would he hit it off with Veronica? Or would he cut and run again?

Change was in the air with Eliot. The groom was re-entering the experiment with a totally different mindset and regrets about how he cut his time short previously.
"I'm too specific and too argumentative and too difficult I think," he said candidly.
"I want to do better this time."
"I don't want to be alone," Eliot admitted.
"I want to have that tenderness with someone and so I'm open to learning about things and trying to actually make it work."
Don't let the smile fool you.
As someone that oozes confidence, Veronica says she has a "zero bulls--t tolerance".
Might she just be exactly the woman that Eliot needs?
Despite everything she's got going for her, Veronica admitted "dating is really hard".
"When I meet people they're either intimidated by me or I'm too much for them."
Veronica wanted more than anything to be a mum one day.
Which, so far, was aligning with Eliot's desire to have a big family of his own.
Considering this was Eliot's second wedding, the guest list wasn't quite as long as his first.
In fact, Eliot was doing this one solo with none of his family or friends attending.
It was something that Veronica's two friends (and the only guests of the wedding) noticed pretty quickly.
"There's no chairs on his side," one of the bridesmaids spotted.
"It's a bit of a strange one why there's nobody here at his wedding. I think something's happened," she started to speculate.
Eliot waited for his bride and was feeling "excited but cautious".
As Veronica and Eliot met at the altar there were all sorts of giddy nerves.
But it was obvious that they were both pleased with the other.
Then, Eliot asked his new bride a question that caught her off guard:
"Do you recognise me?"
Thankfully Veronica did not.
But Eliot warned her that his vows would explain all she needed to know...
In her vows, Veronica made a few promises to her new husband:
"I promise to communicate openly and honestly with you and to pull you up on your bulls--t and take ownership of my own," she said.
"Above all, I promise to be my true, authentic self with you."
