Exclusive: Ryan admits he was 'insensitive' after Photo Ranking task leaves wife Jacqui 'bawling her eyes out' on MAFS 2025
EXCLUSIVE: Jacqui and Ryan's Photo Ranking task was hard to watch and "pretty hard to stomach," according to the Married At First Sight bride.
When tasked with ordering the other brides and grooms in order of attractiveness, Jacqui thought the challenge was pretty simple – put your own partner first.

And that's exactly what she did, but partner Ryan had other plans. He ranked her third amongst the other brides and even reconsidered his choice to move her lower.
In an exclusive interview, both Jacqui and Ryan open up about the impact of the challenge and Ryan reveals exactly why he chose to rank Jacqui where he did.

Jacqui told 9Entertainment she "bawled her eyes out" and was left feeling broken after Ryan revealed his verdict.
"Even in the moment, with me sitting there, he lost empathy when he said, 'I think Sierah is probably higher than you'," she began.
"How dare you? If anything maybe you should've felt bad and felt more sensitivity.
"It felt cruel, it felt mean, it felt horrible. It was confronting."
While Ryan agreed his delivery was "a little bit insensitive", he said he "wasn't convinced" by Jacqui's first-place ranking of him and so he decided to be "genuine and honest".

"I knew she had a type. She told me she wanted two blonde kids with her 6'4" clean-shaven blonde husband," he explained.
"I'm secure within myself. I don't need that validation. If there's an honest way you want to put a couple of guys ahead of me then that's fine."

Ryan, 36, understood Jacqui's point of view but was still surprised by the repercussions of their fallout.
