Michael erupts at Sara for defending Stephen after a text exchange derails his entire marriage on MAFS 2024
The Married At First Sight Retreat has only just begun, but some participants have already reached boiling point.
However, a fiery row between Michael and Sara is the one clash we did not see coming.

As the night kicked-off, Michael updated the group on his "rough week" with husband Stephen. In particular, the "flirty" text messages between Stephen and his hairdresser.
"I felt like it was a massive emotional cheat," Michael said in front of everyone.
As Sara came to Stephen's defence, Michael was not happy.

Michael explained that after Stephen's "sexual awakening" with the hairdresser, his husband didn't want anything to do with him.
That's when Cassandra called out Stephen's feelings – and Sara stepped in.

"I feel like if all of us went off a physical spark, none of us would be in happy relationships because that is such a fleeting moment of lust," said Cassandra.
"His point is that he's tried for three weeks to really..." Sara began before getting interrupted by Michael.
"No, he has not," the groom huffed across the fire pit.
Sara couldn't get a word in as Michael continued to make his point.

"Can you just relax for a second," Sara said, her jaw dropping as the two erupted in a heated exchange.
"No, I'm not going to relax – I'm annoyed right now. You worry about your own relationship," he bit back.
"Are you serious, Michael? You're hurt and I get that, but stop lashing out at people," she yelled to the groom.

"You're making no sense to me, because you're shallow," Michael snapped. "Shut up right now, you're getting on my nerves."

Silence hung in the air. Much to Sara's annoyance, there was one groom who was particularly silent: her husband Tim.
"I was looking at Tim like... say something. Do anything other than sitting, sipping, taking it all in," Tori observed to cameras.
