In her exclusive audition tape, which you can watch above, Mel reiterated once again that she is very comfortable with her sensual self.

She even detailed that she's been known for donning an apron, crop top and G-string in the kitchen… and nothing else.

"I look the part," she shared. "I'm pretty, I'm happy, I've got high energy."

But Mel said that despite her confidence and extroverted personality, she often feels misunderstood.

She confessed her cheeky smile and bubbly personality results in people seeing her as cute, and she blindsides them when they realise she is actually a "freak in the sheets".

"I'm not boring!" she laughed.

Even when people learn of Mel's sexy side, they still don't necessarily get the full picture of the self–assured mum.

The cuteness might mask the steamy side, but the sexuality can lead others to create assumptions that she isn't looking for a serious relationship.

"It's been really hard for me to find the same equal, because I'm... boobs out in a short dress – mind you, mighty fine. [But] they might see me as a 'one night girl', I'm not sure.

"But I am far from that. I really want to be in a committed relationship."

Mel explained that her '40s have her in the best place she's ever been, personally.

"I feel more empowered, [and] stronger than when I was in my '30s and '20s," she said.

Despite that, she's also terrified that she will "miss the boat" when it comes to finding her perfect match.

"That scares the s--t out of me," she confessed, adding that she feared becoming a "spinster" if she didn't find her match on Married At First Sight.
