'An inspiration to me': MAFS expert John Aiken shares emotional tribute as he announces his mother Wendy has died
Married At First Sight expert John Aiken has sadly announced the passing of his beloved mother Wendy.
On Sunday night, John took to Instagram to share the news and make a heartwarming tribute to his mum.

"Today I lost this amazing woman. A wonderful mother and an inspiration to me," he wrote.
"Lots of love Wendy. So grateful for you and all you have given me and the boys. J🙏❤️💕"
In the years gone by, the relationship expert has spoken about his mother fondly.
He previously told 9Honey that she was very supportive of his endeavours on MAFS.
And although she was one of his biggest cheerleaders, he said she wasn't afraid to give him some honest advice.

During his interview with 9Honey, John revealed that Wendy had offered some constructive criticism via text message.
"The last text Mum sent me was to give me some feedback on some of my advice on MAFS!" he said at the time.
"She's a big fan – and loves to critique how we run a Commitment Ceremony!"

John sadly lost his father in November 2016.
On his one-year anniversary, he took to Instagram to honour his dad.
"Thinking of Dad today. 5th January 1933 – 29th November 2016. Missing you."
