'Foxy Jojo' from Season 5 wows fans with stunning transformation

Jo McPharlin, the bubbly bride from Married At First Sight Season 5, is living up to her Foxy Jojo nickname.

The 40-year-old single mother, who was paired with pub manager Sean Donnelly in 2018, took to Instagram this week to share a new photo from her gig as a model for curvy brand Kennedys Boutique.

"Mr Wong pant paired up with the cobra basic instincts shirt $50 each," Jo wrote of the clothes she was modelling. "What a gorgeous set from @kennedysboutique shop today."

But it wasn't the clothes that got people's attention.

"You look HOT!" wrote Jo's fellow bride, Sarah Roza, with the addition of three fire emojis. Cheryl Maitland, who was on the same series, left three love heart eye emojis, while Ashley Airvin shared her support with, "Looking good JoJo."

Jo's fans — she has an Instagram following of over 40,000 — also showered her with compliments.

"Take in all these great comments Jo, you looked amazing 'before' & you look amazing now," wrote one. "Smoking hot! Tell us in a post about how you achieved this and your mindset!" said another.

Jo was "blown away" by the feedback. "Hi guys I'm absolutely blown away with all your amazing comments and I feel truely [sic] humbled by each and everyone of you," she replied. "Thank you so much."

It's clear that Jo, a MAFS fan favourite, has been living her best fashion influencer life. In addition to sharing her work with brands that cater for women of all sizes, the mother of two posts body positive messages on social media — her bio even reads, "Embrace your curves."
