MAFS' Jackson Lonie finally addresses cheating on Olivia Frazer – as the couple confirm they will stay together

Married At First Sight star Jackson Lonie has broken his silence for the first time since he was caught kissing another woman behind his girlfriend Olivia Frazer's back.

The 31-year-old released a video on Instagram alongside Liv on Wednesday, saying he had "f---ed up" when he kissed TikTok star Han Hughes at a bar in Melbourne last week.

The couple also confirmed they were staying together despite the recent scandal.

"Just taking a second to jump on here to address what happened last weekend," Jackson began.

"It's s--t, I f--ked up. All the negativity we'd been getting, the way I'd kind of been dealing with it is to get blackout drunk – which don't get me wrong, isn't an excuse.

"It's not acceptable, It's not the person I want to be. It's not who I am."

Jackson admitted he knows he has an issue and is trying to fix it.

"I am seeking help to try and figure out new ways to combat my emotions and how to deal with this negativity," he continued.

"It has been s--t, but I'm lucky to have Liv by my side and she has been nothing but an angel throughout it all."

Olivia smiled and said, "Aww, that's nice..."

"We're staying together. We've got a lot of healing to do, but ultimately, we love each other and it's not worth throwing it away."

The comments section was flooded with well-wishes from their friends, with MAFS' star Tamara Djordjevic writing, "I love you guys. What you have definitely isn't worth throwing away.

"I think people need to understand you're still humans and no one unless they have been through half of what you guys have would ever understand the pressure it puts on peoples mental health and ultimately a relationship. Always have my support."

"Stay strong. Time is the best healer!!" Carolina Santos, who was involved in her own cheating scandal on MAFS with Daniel Holmes, commented.

Daniel added, "Love you guys! You'll move forward even stronger."

One fan commented: "I thought Olivia had gone overseas?"

Liv replied, "I tried but tested positive for COVID at the airport. The universe said 'No girl. Go home and deal with this'."

On Friday night, Jackson was filmed locking lips with TikTok star Han Hughes, 20, at the Lava Lounge in Melbourne – just hours after Olivia had gone home to bed.

The kiss was filmed and shared online via Facebook page Tea Time, who captioned it, "Are Jackson and Olivia still together or in an open relationship? I got sent a photo of him and my cousin at Lava last night."

Han spoke out about what happened during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this week.

When asked how she felt about Jackson being unfaithful to Olivia, she said, "At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how drunk you are.

"If you're really secure in a relationship, you wouldn't let anything or anyone break into it."

She also said she's not to blame for what happened.

"I feel like no one deserves to be cheated on, and I do feel bad that she's been cheated on – absolutely," she added.

"But I'm also in the mindset that I didn't know, and it's not my responsibility to go up to everyone that I talk to in the bar to make sure they're single."

When asked what she would say to Olivia if given the chance, she said, "If she wants to speak about it and give me a call, I'd be happy to.

"She deserves to hear it from my mouth, and I will let her do that. It's the least she deserves after having to go through all this."
