Family and friends weigh in on final decisions

The couples returned home ahead of their vow renewal ceremonies to ask for some advice from their beloved friends and family.

It wasn’t all helpful though with most of them raising their concerns as opposed to their blessings.

Alene’s bridesmaid Amanda hasn’t been Simon’s greatest fan throughout the experiment and she again raised her doubts about his commitment to a long distance relationship. 

“I like Simon I think he’s a very genuine person and a sweet guy, whether I think he has what it takes to make it work, I am doubtful,” Amanda explained to an anxious looking Alene.

Amanda wasn’t the only friend raising doubts with Andy’s best mate Thomo speaking up about his concerns about Vanessa.

“She’ll talk under water,” Thomo said of Vanessa’s out-there personality.

“That’s the complete opposite of Andrew, I don’t think opposites attract.”

Surprisingly Vanessa’s dad defended Andy’s introversion explaining that his quiet personality isn’t a negative thing.
