Experts are put in the firing line at first Commitment Ceremony

The Commitment Ceremonies are a new addition to this year’s season of Married at First Sight.

They aim to give the couples an opportunity to discuss any issues in their relationship with the people who matched them together.

But the first Commitment ceremony saw the exercise back-fire on the Experts, when Michael went on the attack and demanded to know from the Experts why he had been matched with someone who he deemed was not the right fit for him.

“I’m looking for someone who is extremely into fitness and shares that with myself, you don’t see that as something that should be paired up together?,” Michael fired at the Experts.

Expert Trisha Stratford told 9Now that she wasn’t confronted by the attack, instead sees it as a challenge.

“We had to bounce back at times when they were quite challenging to us.

“We had to justify why we put these couples together.

“I don’t see it as confronting I see it as challenging.”
