Love Island UK's Molly-Mae Hague has leg mole removed over concerns it could turn cancerous

Love Island UK's Molly-Mae Hague has had a leg mole removed after concerns it could turn cancerous.
The 21-year-old — who's the most-followed Islander of all time — shared the news with her 4.8 million followers in an Instagram story, stressing the importance of receiving multiple medical opinions.
"Some of you might remember me talking about the mole that was here a few weeks ago on my story. Not going to go into too much detail until I have my results back next week but this just goes to show how important getting different doctor's opinion is," she wrote alongside an image of her leg with a large scar.

She included a smaller image of the mole showing it had a red-colouring before it was removed.
"So relieved to have it gone. I'll keep you all updated. I just need to share this because I can't stress the importance of this situation enough," she added.
Molly-Mae's boyfriend Tommy Fury — who she met on Love Island — waited for the star with flowers following the procedure.

While Molly-Mae was an influencer before she appeared on Love Island UK Season 5, her popularity soared after appearing on the show in 2019. It was here that she met her now boyfriend Tommy Fury. The couple didn't win but they were the runners-up.
