Love Island UK's Mary Bedford 'shaken, cut and bruised' after horrific car crash

Love Island UK star Mary Bedford is thanking her guardian angels after walking away from a horrific car crash.

The 23-year-old was left "shaken up" by the incident and said she was covered in "cuts and bruises".

Mary's $96,000 "dream car" – a Range Rover Velar – was written off following the accident.

She posted scenes of the car following the crash to her Instagram storiesshowing the driver's side badly damaged.

"Someone must have been looking down on me today… very shaken up, cut and bruised but so grateful to be back home tonight," she wrote.

The reality star purchased the Range Rover Velar in December 2021.

Mary vlogged the exciting purchase in a video uploaded to her YouTube account.

"Today has been a milestone on my life, I've always dreamt of having a Range Rover," Mary said at the time.

"I'm so excited to pick up my car. I've literally been banging on about this day for months and months.

"I've actually not sat in the car, I've not driven the car, so I hope I like it," she joked to the camera.

Mary was not disappointed.

"I honestly can't believe this is my car. It was so worth the wait," she beamed in her YouTube video.

At the time, Mary said the car made her feel like she'd gotten her "independence back".

Mary rose to fame on Season 7 of Love Island UK.

She originally entered through Casa Amor, before Toby Aromolaran brought her back to the Villa.

Things didn't work out between Mary and Toby and she eventually Coupled Up with Aaron Simpson. However the pair split when Mary was dumped from the Villa.
